The Commercial Lines Advisor position at Nulty Insurance Agency is a client-facing role in the agency. The purpose of the position is to provide professional, first-class service and high-level insurance and risk management expertise to existing clients and prospects.

Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities
New Sales:
- Identify and develop prospects, turn them into clients
- Respond to referrals quickly and effectively
- Develop, follow and complete sales objectives
- Cross sell accounts when possible and appropriate
Retention & Organizational Development:
- Develop and retain relationship with clients
- Work with clients to ensure strategic plan meets short- and long-term objectives
- Review account activity, renewals, quotes and claims data with clients
- Document all activity in agency management system
- Maintain confidentiality on prospects/clients
- Accepts and handles any duties assigned by agency management
Personal and Organizational Development:
- Develop and refine your professional sales skills
- Stay well informed of insurance carrier products, procedures and limitations
- Help develop and implement plans for our team growth
- Engage, respect and value your team members
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Self-motivated
- Commercial Insurance experience
- Property/Casualty license in Michigan
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Works well in a team environment
- Willingness to do whatever we can to help our clients succeed
